To unlock the bootloader of the Lenovo k4 note you have to first enable usb debugging and toggle on allow oem unlocking which is going to be in devloper options. The first video below will show how to do that.Then what we want to do is install adb and fastboot on our laptop. To do that on windows 10 first click on this button to download the ten sec installer link.Next right click on the download installer and run as admin. After that run the command "adb devices". Then click on always allow and ok on your k4 note. After that go ahead and run the command "adb reboot bootloader" on your pc. Now run the command "fastboot devices" on your pc when it says "FASTBOOT mode. . ." on the bottom of the k4 note. Now run the command "fastboot flashing unlock" and click the volume up button on your k4 note. After that hold the power button and setup up your device again and enable usb debugging again.
First run the command "adb reboot bootloader". Now from there download the twrp for this device from here.After that do "fastboot flash recovery twrp.img" by dragiing the twrp .img to the cmd by replacing twrp.img. Now disconnect the usb cable. Now hold the power and the two volume buttons at the same time untill the device reboots into twrp.
First download this rom from here. Now go to mount and connect your cable with the pc. Now selct enable mtp. From your laptops file explorer copy the rom to your internal storage of your k4 note. After that click install in twrp and select the rom. Now you have to flash the gapps. Click on the back button after you succesfully flashed the rom. Now copy This to your device. Now click install and selct the gapps one. Now flash that by clicking it. After that click on reboot and select recovery. Now click on reboot again and click on system. Then you have succesfully installed android 8.1.0 on your k4 note.
First download the latest release of magisk manager from here. Next on your phone open it. It will say allow from this sorce. Allow it. After that it will say install and install it. Next open it and click on magisk install. From there it will download it and now reboot into twrp. Now boot into twrp recovery by running the command on your pc adb reboot recovery.Now go to install then go to downloads folder and select the magisk zip and flash it. Now reboot system. You can also install a root checker app to verify the installation of root. Now you have succesfully rooted the lenovo k4 note.
